Aragosta alla Catalana e tatar di tonno
Catalan-style lobster (Sardinian specialty) & tuna tartare
Ingredients: Serves 4
Lobster
2 live lobsters (approx. 700 g each – they are black when alive, not red as shown in the picture above)
1 bunch celery
4 spring onions
6 large tomatoes (as ripe as possible, if possible)
1/2 lemon
White wine vinegar
Extra virgin olive oil
S/P
Tuna
Extra virgin olive oil
400 g fresh tuna
20 g capers
2 spring onions
1/2 lemon
S/P
What you can do in advance
Put all the ingredients out on your kitchen counter so you're ready at 5 p.m. when we get started.
Divide them into small piles on the kitchen table, as we have done in the shopping list above, so that the various items you need to make the different dishes are grouped together and ready to use.
It is a good idea to
- put water on to boil in the electric kettle
- Peel the spring onions
- Wash the tomatoes
- Wash the celery
- Open the capers packaging
- Remove the fresh tuna from its packaging and keep refrigerated until use.
