Culinary events

We love organizing special dinner events!
Every year, we hold as many different culinary events as we can manage. During the fall and winter breaks, we participate in Dining Week, at the end of November we hold Nebbiolo Week, in week 11 we usually have Brunello Week, and during the spring and summer we hold themed dinners, while during the Christmas months we hold white truffle dinners.

Vertical Brunello Tasting with Luciano Ciolfi from San Lorenzo

A 7-course menu paired with a vertical tasting of Brunello from 6 vintages and 2 Rosso wines from 2 vintages

On Friday, May 29, we will be joined by Luciano Ciolfi from San Lorenzo, a small, family-owned Brunello producer in Montalcino.

Luciano himself will be coming to Copenhagen this evening to present his wines and talk about the work that goes into them—about Montalcino, the differences between vintages, how the climate is changing Brunello, and why high-altitude vineyards are playing an increasingly crucial role in the region’s future.

The evening will also offer a rare opportunity to taste several of San Lorenzo’s Brunellos in this vertical tasting, where the character, evolution, and aging potential of each vintage will be clearly evident in the glass.

San Lorenzo is known for a classic and elegant Brunello style that emphasizes terroir, balance, and authenticity over power and over-extraction. This makes the evening particularly interesting for those who appreciate Brunello with finesse, vibrancy, and distinct vintage character.

We look forward to an intimate evening around the table, featuring good food, fine wines, and stories straight from Montalcino.
