Aragosta alla Catalana e tatar di Tonno

Lobster 'Catalana' & tuna tatar


Ingredients: 4 personer

Lobster

2 live lobsters (around 700 gr each – they are black when they are alive, not red as in the photo above)

1 bundle of celery

4 spring onions

6 big tomatoes, as green as possible

1/2 lemon

White vinegar

Olive oil extra vergine

S/P

Tuna

Olive oil extra vergine

400 gr fresh tuna

20 gr capers

2 spring onions

S/P

What can you do beforehand

Place all the ingrediens on your kitchen table so that you’re set for 5 pm  

Divide them into small islands on the kitchen table, as we have divided into the shopping list above, so that the different things you need to cook stand together and are ready to use

It’s a good idea to

  • Put water to boil
  • Peel the spring onions
  • Wash the tomatoes
  • Wash the celery
  • Open the capers-packaging
  • Take out the fresh tuna from its packaging (if it has it) and leave in fridge until use

Pots and pans
  • Big pot for the lobster
  • Bowl for the tuna
  • Bowl for the lobster
  • Lobster cracker (or just a plain nutcracker)
